GetListingScore ("GetListingScore," "we," "us," or "our") is a property intelligence platform that provides buyers and homebuyers with comprehensive risk data — including flood, fire, crime, school, environmental, and insurance risk scores — for residential properties across the continental United States. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to handling your personal information with care, transparency, and integrity.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and what choices you have. It applies to all users of the GetListingScore platform, including registered users, free trial users, and visitors to our website at getlistingscore.com.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

When you create an account, run a property report, or contact us, you may provide:

• Name, email address, and phone number
• Property addresses you submit for scoring
• Payment and billing information (processed securely by Stripe)
• Messages or inquiries sent to our support team
• Google account information if you sign in with Google (name, email, Google account ID)

Information collected automatically

When you use our platform, we automatically collect certain technical information, including:

• IP address and general geographic location
• Browser type, device type, and operating system
• Pages visited, features used, and time spent on the platform
• Referring URLs and session activity
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Cookies & Tracking below)

Property data

When you submit a property address, we retrieve publicly available risk and environmental data for that property from third-party data providers. This data is used solely to generate your report and is not linked to any other personal information beyond your account.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Providing, operating, and maintaining the GetListingScore platform
• Generating property risk and intelligence reports based on addresses you submit
• Creating and managing your account and report history
• Sending transactional communications such as confirmations, account alerts, and support responses
• Processing payments and managing billing
• Improving platform features, performance, and data accuracy
• Sending product updates or promotional communications (you may opt out at any time)
• Detecting and preventing fraudulent or unauthorized activity
• Enforcing our geographic service restrictions (continental US only)
• Complying with applicable laws and legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information or use it to train third-party AI or machine learning models without your explicit consent.

When We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: We work with trusted third-party vendors — including Stripe for payment processing, data providers for property risk information, and email delivery services — who help us operate the platform. These providers are contractually required to use your data only to perform services on our behalf.
• Data providers: Property addresses you submit are sent to third-party risk data providers (flood, fire, environmental, crime, school) in order to generate your report. These providers do not receive your personal account information.
• Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request — or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.
• Aggregated data: We may share anonymized, aggregated data that cannot reasonably identify you — for example, platform usage statistics or regional property risk trends.

Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is being used. These include:

• Essential cookies: Required for the platform to function, including session management and security.
• Analytics cookies: Help us understand how users interact with the platform so we can improve it. We use aggregate, anonymized data for this purpose.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect your ability to log in or use certain platform features. We do not currently participate in cross-site behavioral advertising networks.

Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain certain records.

Marketing communications

You can opt out of promotional emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing message or by contacting us directly. We may still send you transactional or service-related messages after you unsubscribe from marketing.

Google sign-in

If you sign in using Google, you may revoke GetListingScore's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions page. Revoking access does not delete your GetListingScore account — contact us separately to request account deletion.

Data Security

We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. These measures include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), access controls, hashed password storage, and regular security reviews.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we work hard to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. We also retain information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Report history is retained for your convenience and may be deleted upon request. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

California Residents

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including:

• The right to know what personal information we have collected about you and how it is used and shared
• The right to request deletion of your personal information

GetListingScore does not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA.

Children's Privacy

GetListingScore is intended for use by adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, we will promptly delete it. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at privacy@getlistingscore.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements.
